A view of the interesting roofline of Falmouth HighStreet viewed from the Prince of Wales Pier. The sun had cast some lovely angular shadows and these complimented the geometric shapes of the buildings crowded into that space, behind the facade of shops in old Falmouth town. I added the figure in the window to help break up those windows and thought she might be wistfully looking at a gull gliding freely above. I’ve always appreciated this view and surprised it’s often overlooked.
