Description
A bit of simple exploration into abstraction. This part of Peru easily lends itself to abstraction because it is such an unusual place. I’ve wanted to abstract my work more for some time now and intend to do a series of this coastline, based on references I made during a visit there a couple of years ago. Future paintings will be more elaborate, but this painting is a stepping stone towards it. I really enjoyed doing it and hope you can see that in the result. Who knows where it will take me in painting, but i’m looking forward to just going with it.
