Submissions for Truro Cathedral Art Show
I thought you may like to see the three paintings I selected for the cathedral’s art exhibition with its theme of “Nature & Creation” and currently running until 25th May.
Spring Water

Details – Acrylics on 16 x 20 inch 400 gsm Paper. Mounted on board and Framed.
This painting is of Golitha Falls in Springtime when the budding and vibrantly green canopy offers little resistance to the radiant sunlight reaching for the woodland floor and bright water.
Penguin Fiesta

Details – Acrylics on 13 x 19 inch 400 gsm Paper. Mounted on board and Framed.
The idea for this painting was seeded a while back during a visit to the amazing Bioparc in Valencia. These Gentoo penguins are a boisterous bunch who are letting off a bit of steam and doing what penguins do: Bringing a smile to our faces.
Points In Time

Details – Acrylics on 15.75 x 21 inch 400 gsm Paper. Mounted on board and Framed.
Points In Time is of the wild stretch of Carnewas (aka Bedruthan Steps). This was a cool glittering day in late autumn of last year. Like many beautiful spots on the coast, it feels timeless and reassuringly permanent. Yet those jagged cones have infinitesimally changed with each wave that carved by over the millenniums. Like ever diminishing points in time.
These and many other paintings by local artists are currently on show and available for purchase at Truro Cathedral Art Exhibition
