A couple of summers ago at Godrevy when the it was one of those beautiful days for an idyllic coastal walk. This magnificent stretch of coastline is managed and conserved by the National Trust. They had sown a meadow in phacelia, a profusely blue flowering plant to attract and benefit the local wildlife., It looked a stunning centre piece in an already exhilarating view across Gwithian and beyond. The same meadow featured in another painting of mine called “Close to the Edge.” Perhaps some time in the future I will paint a combination of this scene but happy with this for now.
