Description
This was painted from references taken on an early London evening in February 2020 walking along the Albert Embankment. People had little idea of Covid and what was looming. It had been a nice day and people were still enjoying the feel of it as they strolled along the Thames. Lights were gradually going out in the towers around and coming on in the streets below providing a colourful backdrop for this study. London is an amazing city with many famous landmarks but I chose this scene for its ordinary but beautiful setting.
