Description
This was painted from references taken in late 2021 during a visit to the Lizard Peninsula over a couple of delightfully bright days. The sea was unusually calm for that time of year and was accompanied with lovely broken skies that provided fantastic sunsets to close the day. The beautiful rugged coastline of this peninsula includes rare serpentine in green and mahogany as well as the much admired granite stacks. It all makes for some spectacular scenery to wander in and simply absorb as well as to paint too of course!
