Description
Tudanca is a small village set high in the spectacular Cantabrian mountains of Northern Spain. It is renowned as an isolated retreat for poets and writers. Little wonder, the area is staggeringly beautiful and in the summer months carpeted in wild flowers but it is obvious winter here would be a very different story particularly in days gone by. As I have mentioned before in previous posts, farming in this region is traditional where meadow grass and hay are often cut and gathered by hand. Just a lovely peaceful place.
