Details – Acrylics on 50 x 35cms Canson Paper

Description

A very well known stretch of coastline on the north coast of Cornwall within the Mining Heritage Coastline of St Agnes. Over time and with nature’s help, the past’s industrial landscape has been transformed to provide a stunning wild space above the sea on crystalline cliff faces. The National Trust does a fantastic job of managing this conservation area. In this painting, Wheal Coates Engine House forms an emblematic silhouette in a dazzling autumn afternoon looking west over the deep set Chapel Porth, where you can enjoy a famous Hedgehog ice cream on its beautiful sandy cove.
