Wheal Coates in a summer setting when purple heather and yellow western gorse burst into an amazing carpet of colour to transform the historic industrial landscape of the mining heritage coastline of St Agnes. Just a little further on is the lovely cove of Chapel Porth. It’s gorgeous to ramble along the myriad of paths that crisscross above the sea here at any time of the year and to breathe in the sea air but really special in the warm summer sunshine.
