Description
Another painting derived from visiting the intoxicating countryside of N Spain. We were near Balboa in the region of Castile & León. We had meandered high up in the hills and strolled off the stony track to take in the magnificent distant view of blue and yellow Seemingly from nowhere came this beautiful white horse. It and the eagle above gave a motional layer to the stillness of the natural surroundings. He calmly roamed about us while cautiously keeping a close distance. It was his domain and a joyful moment for us to see him high and wild amongst the blanket of Spanish gorse.

Nice one Chris. Love horses! Wouldn’t mind riding up there with views like that.
Thanks for the comment Dave! The scenery there is amazing. But you will need to take a large sombrero in the summer.🙂
