View of Blue – Original Painting & Giclée Prints

View of Blue is an original painting based on one of my favourite parts of Cornwall near Porthgwarra in Penwith. The north and south coasts have beautiful coves, beaches and spectacular rocky coastal scenery. This painting is based on a reference photograph which I took on a coastal walk between Porthgwarra and Lands End in mid Summer. There are numerous views out to sea along the coastal path which are framed by granite stacks and boulders that form the magnificent cliffs. It is a beautiful wild stretch of coastline particularly in summer when the proliferation of wild flowers, the warm sea air and the sounds of skylarks and other birds, flood your senses with wellbeing . This was such a day.
