The National Park of Dartmoor in Devon UK. Loosely based on Bonehill Rocks and a National Parks poster but importantly for me, it captures some of the essence of the moor: The beautiful granite tors crowning the hills. the tough grassy expanses, the countless tracks and the wildlife.

An image inspired by a visit in early Spring of 2025 when we had surprisingly good weather at that time of year, particularly considering it was Dartmoor. The grasses were mass of green, gold and ochres. The ponies were appearing and then disappearing from view. You may want to view Spring’s Promise at Wally Brook which is related to the same event.
