Buttermere is one of the most loved lakes in Cumbria. Steeped in history and folklore it’s a place that epitomises the beauty of the Lake District in England. There are all types of walks available in the Buttermere valley. Challenging ascents or leisurely strolls like the serenely beautiful circular lakeside route on which this view is depicted. It isn’t a very big lake but it is immense in majesty and I tried to convey it in this piece.
